How much space do I need to use the machine?Updated 2 months ago
The GRIND Machine delivers a standard pass to the high school 3-point line (approximately 19 feet). To fully utilize all five shooting spots available on the machine—top of the key, both free-throw line extended positions, and both deep corners—we recommend a minimum surface area of 20ft x 20ft. However, at a minimum, you’ll need at least 20ft x 10ft of space to use the machine effectively.
Some customers with narrower driveways may only use the top-of-the-key pass spot, while others with wider courts or backyards can take advantage of all the available passing positions. It ultimately depends on your space.
If the machine arrives and the pass feels too long for your court setup, reach out to us—our Engineering team can walk you through how to lower the air pressure so the pass distance is reduced.
